Small businesses expect higher sales over tax-free weekend: ‘It’ll be strong’
Local businesses kept busy Friday, July 25, as customers shopped on the first day of Tennessee’s tax-free weekend.
And Saturday will bring even more business.
The tax-free weekend lasts from Friday to Sunday with no tax on clothing, school supplies that cost $100 or less per item and computers priced $1,500 or less.
