Locals buy East Memphis hotel for $5.5 million

A local company has bought the Hampton Inn at Poplar Avenue and Estate Drive for $5.5 million with plans to spend $4 million to upgrade the property.
Lotus Holdings LLC bought the 124-unit hotel at 5320 Poplar Ave. from HIT Potfolio I Owner LLC.
