FedEx shareholders approve board of directors, executive compensation
Founded in 1971, FedEx employs approximatately 30,000 in the Memphis metro area. FedEx investors voted to approve all company proposals at its annual meeting of shareholders. (The Daily Memphian file)
Shareholders approved the company’s 15 nominees to the FedEx board of directors, including two who were named to the board following an agreement between FedEx and activist investor D. E. Shaw, and compensation for the company’s executive officers.
