FedEx Freight leader fired

FedEx Freight has fired Mike Lyons, executive vice president and chief specialized-services and commercial officer, according to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
It’s unclear why Lyons was fired.
“Following an internal investigation, the company determined Mr. Lyons violated its Code of Conduct and no longer met the standards of employment at FedEx Freight,” according to the filing.
