Shelby County reports 59 COVID-19 cases from 2,066 tests
The Shelby County Health Department reported 59 new COVID-19 cases in Shelby County from 2,066 tests.
The daily positivity rate Sunday was less than 3%.
The case total in Shelby County since early March is 32,975.
The Shelby County Health Department also reported three new deaths. A reported 533 people have died from the virus.
The most recent hospital data is from 5 p.m. Then, there were were 268 available area acute care beds.
Intensive care unit capacity was tighter at 91%. There were 39 open ICU beds. State data reported 15% of people in ICU were being treated for COVID-19.
The state Department of Health releases its coronavirus update at 2 p.m. daily. Saturday it reported a total 212,649 cases and 2,758 deaths across Tennessee since early March.
