City cancels vaccinations Saturday due to severe weather

The city of Memphis canceled all vaccinations at its public sites and pop-up events Saturday, March 27 due to severe weather, according to a tweet this morning. 

Those with appointments Saturday are encouraged to reschedule at covid19.memphistn.gov or call 901-222-SHOT.


Vaccination eligibility expands as shots administered increase


Strong to severe storms are possible Saturday afternoon into early Sunday morning across the entire Mid-South area, according to a tweet from the National Weather Service’s Memphis office. Heavy rain is also possible with the Memphis-area under a flash flood watch until 7 a.m. Sunday.
