Coronavirus: Shelby County averaging 87 new cases daily

Shelby County has averaged 87 new coronavirus cases reported per day for the past seven days.

On Wednesday, Nov. 3, the Shelby County Health Department reported 111 new coronavirus cases and two new coronavirus-related deaths.

Shelby County’s reported coronavirus total is now 146,212 total cases, including 2,258 deaths.

Of the 927 reported active cases, 271 — or about 29% — are pediatric.

Shelby County has averaged 1,709 new vaccinations per day for the past seven days. 

Shelby County is 72.1% to the way to the goal of 700,000 people being vaccinated against COVID-19; 504,441 people have been vaccinated.
