The 27th annual Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival drew thousands to Downtown Memphis on Sunday. The event featured crawfish (of course), games, live music and 24 teams participated in a gumbo cookoff.

The event, which features 17,000 pounds of crawfish each year, claims to be the “unofficial start of spring” in the Bluff City. The festival is the largest fundraiser for Porter-Leath, a non-profit for at-risk children and families in the Memphis area.
