In 2018, after Memphis native Reggie Morrow moved to California, he began to focus on food — both in his personal life and for work.
He wanted to eat healthier and lose weight. But he also started a business selling Memphis-style barbecue chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes and rolls.
Only when he moved back to Memphis, he knew the Bluff City barbecue market was saturated. That’s when he seized upon smoked chicken salad.
