Scott Morris still has a little trouble wrapping his head around the enormity of a price tag that stretches beyond $900 million.
That’s the estimated cost to build a new hospital for Regional One Health on the former site of the Commercial Appeal at the edge of Downtown.
The new hospital would replace the existing Regional One campus in the Memphis Medical District, a site filled with aging buildings that many believe have far outlived their effective lifespans.
