Memphis Tigers baseball has reached the meat of its schedule, and Saturday’s 11-1 run-rule victory in eight innings against Wichita State was a positive sign during the second American Conference weekend series of the year for the Tigers.
The first 22 games of the season hadn’t gone as planned. Memphis entered Tuesday’s game against No. 18 Ole Miss with a 6-16 record before upsetting the Rebels at home.
