Social media’s atwitter after MLGW lifts boil advisory
Memphis Light Gas and Water customers are rejoicing after the mandatory boil water was lifted Thursday.
Thank you to the many @MLGW employees who have been working nonstop for the last several days to restore water to our residents. I know this was no easy task. https://t.co/FGPKhtjege

This comes after it was issued Feb. 18 as water pressure declined. That drop resulted in main breaks. The Mid-South had about 10 inches and below-freezing temperatures after a few rounds of snow.
Thousands of residential customers, along with businesses, hospitals, schools and prisons were affected.
Check out the reactions below.
Inject Memphis tap water into my veins. I want to be buried with it. It's truly unbeatable. https://t.co/MUx1UJZdWA

The toddler tried to kill me. Was in the shower washing my hair since Memphis can now use our tap water… mane came in and yelled peek a boo! I damn near jumped out the roof 🤣. He opened the door and the shower curtain. Who raised this mane

How does Starbucks have the audacity to not open as soon as the water advisory is lifted.

My tweets don't always resonate, but when they do, they are typically about MLGW.
