Greater Memphis Chamber supports charter commission
The Greater Memphis Chamber is backing the idea of a consolidation charter commission, but the organization’s board says it is neutral for now on consolidating city and county governments. “We have many questions but few answers about the pros and cons of a metro government,” Chamber president Beverly Robertson said.
