Darrius Stewart case: Judge denies motion for appeal, trial set for Feb. 25

Federal judge on Friday denied a motion by Darrius Stewart’s attorneys to file an appeal on the ruling that dismissed the city of Memphis from civil lawsuit. The Feb. 25 trial is set to proceed in the case, and Stewart’s attorneys said they may then file appeals in the case.
