On Tom Lee Day, poets embody his spirit and his home becomes historic

Tom Lee’s house in Klondike is about to get a historic designation.
The designation is to be announced Saturday, May 9, at a Klondike celebration of the centennial of Lee’s rescue of 32 people on the Mississippi River south of Memphis in 1925.
