Youth program achieving results in effort to combat juvenile crime, study shows

The Youth Villages SWITCH Youth program has worked to decrease juvenile crime in Memphis by engaging with adolescents who have legal issues to try to put them on a better path.
The results of an independent report the University of Memphis Public Safety Institute released last week indicate that the plan may be working well. The report showed a significant reduction in “total delinquency/criminal charges facing participants during their time in the program.”
