Law enforcement personnel with the Memphis Safe Task Force have made hundreds of arrests since the operation began in Memphis late last month.

And while fighting crime is the bulk of its work, the task force has notably been publicizing another statistic: the number of missing children it has located.

As of Oct. 30, the task force had located 92 missing children, according to Alisha Rutherford with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation. Rutherford is the special agent in charge of TBI’s Criminal Intelligence Unit, which is aiding the task force with locating missing children.
