On Nov. 20, 2021, a woman found a small dog near Jerry’s Sno Cones in the Berclair area.

As the temperature was due to dip into the low 40s that night, the woman wrangled the pup into her car, then took him to the Humane Society of Memphis & Shelby County, where he was given a checkup, some food and a place to sleep.

Almost 1,500 days later, he’s still there.
