The AM/DM podcast: What we know — and don’t — in Memphis’ council ethics complaint

Earlier this month, The Daily Memphian’s Samuel Hardiman broke the news that the City of Memphis was investigating potential ethics violations. Two City Council members and a City Council staffer were said to be involved, but details about that involvement were scant.
Shortly after that, we learned that the council’s chief administrator, who had been fired, had accused the City Council chair of using her position to benefit herself or her family.
We also learned, almost in real time, that the City Council chair filed her own ethics complaint against that same fired administrator.
Today, Samuel Hardiman is here for part one of our discussion into what we know, what we don’t and what this all means.
