As the cutting gardens manager at the Dixon Gallery & Gardens, Adam Queen’s day job is rooting plants and growing flowers.
And his side hustle is much of the same. For the past three years, he’s grown native plants and sold them from farmers markets.
Queen is part of a community of people interested in native plants. Today, digital producer Nick Lingerfelt joins us to talk about his story on Queen as well as the whys and hows of growing native plants.
