The AM/DM podcast: Courts, signs and polls
When it comes to news happening this week, the big things are voters at the polls and athletes on the courts.
Both the women’s and men’s University of Memphis basketball teams will play their season openers this week.
And the Downtown Memphis Commission and the City of Memphis Division of Planning and Development are partnering to get input on changes to the area’s sign regulations.
But the main attraction will be the midterm elections, happening on Tuesday, Nov. 3, and the election of a new Tennessee governor.
Newsletter editor Bianca Phillips is here to help us set up the week.
