SCS reports new COVID cases among 324 students, 57 staff members

In the past two weeks, two Memphis charter schools have filed for virtual learning waivers, according to the approval letters from Education Commissioner Penny Schwinn (shown during summer learning academy at Lowrance K-8 on July 26). (Mark Weber/Daily Memphian file)

Statewide, there have been 4,933 student cases and 755 staff cases reported as of Friday afternoon.
