Three council members call for review of MLGW proposals
Memphis City Council members Cheyenne Johnson (from left), JB Smiley Jr. and Jeff Warren (shown at a consolidation discussion on Dec. 9, 2021) are calling for a review of the proposals MLGW has received on a new electric power supplier for the utility. (Mark Weber/The Daily Memphian file)
Letter questions the validity of the process being used to determine what it would take to get a new electric power supplier and build a new system for MLGW to break its 80-year relationship with TVA.
