Thousands lost power in Memphis, full restoration not until Wednesday
Memphis Light, Gas and Water advises their customers to prepare for possible power outages by charging phones and gathering a flashlight, a radio and batteries. (The Daily Memphian file)
MLGW said in a press release Sunday that most customers should have power by Tuesday evening “unless severe weather returns to our area.” The utility expects full restoration by Wednesday night.
