Ask the Memphian: To beat summer heat, where can you swim in Memphis?

It’s been a mild May in Memphis with the highest temperature only reaching 88 degrees and the average temps being more than a degree cooler than usual. But everyone knows the feared Memphis summer is on its way.
That’s why it’s good news that by the time you read this, almost all the city of Memphis’ swimming pools and splash parks will be available to help you cool down.
In this week’s Ask the Memphian, we’ll tell you where you can go swimming or splashing for free as the temperatures heat up, and we’ll even throw in a few other spots that might not be free but will still be cool and refreshing.
