NAEP results: Tennessee students buck grim national trends on nation’s report card
Tennessee’s proficiency rate grew in eighth-grade math, while the national average declined, according to the latest results from the Nation's Report Card. “Tennessee students did well relative to other states, and we did better than some of our neighbors,” Education Commissioner Lizzette Reynolds said.
