How MSCS’ interim leader wants to change the district

Interim Superintendent Roderick Richmond wants to divide the large Memphis-Shelby County Schools district into regions and reorganize some academic offices, he said in a recent interview.

Richmond offered some of his proposals in response to suggestions from Council of Great City Schools auditors, who reviewed the district’s academic practices last fall
