$750M bond suggested for long-term schools plan

The bond measure is among a slate of recommendations from a subcommittee convened by the Memphis-Shelby County Schools board. Their ideas are meant to drive a plan from interim Superintendent Roderick Richmond’s administration that would close, consolidate and repurpose schools over the next several years.
