Electric bikes donation aids MPD in Downtown patrols

The Excel Power Bikes, which cost $2,299 each, are outfitted with lights and sirens and travel up to 25 miles per hour. They provide visibility while also allowing officers, who are typically on foot, to get to their destination more quickly.
