Constitutional challenges in Ja Morant lawsuit can go forward, judge says

Judge Carol Chumney ruled Wednesday that Ja Morant can claim self-defense in a 2022 fight, creating a question about the constitutionality of the state’s so-called “stand your ground” law.

Once an intern, he never left, joining the staff full-time in 2022 as an education reporter.
