Tuohys will stop referring to Oher as adopted son
Michael Oher (right), whose life story rose to prominence with the 2009 film “The Blind Side,” has been battling the Tuohys since Aug. 14 when he filed a petition in Shelby County Probate Court to end the conservatorship placed over him in 2004. (Aarron Fleming/The Daily Memphian)
The announcement essentially puts an official end to the familial relationship Oher, 37, has shared with the family for about 20 years.
