Attorney in West Memphis Three case reeling from nightmares
The West Memphis Three victims (top row) Christopher Byers, Michael Moore and Stevei Branch and accused (bottom row) Damien Echols, Jessie Misskelley and Jason Baldwin shown in photos.
Judge Dan Stidham is still reeling from the effects the West Memphis Three case had on his life.
He devoted much of his time to maintaining his client’s innocence, which caused a rift between him and his ex-wife and kept him from spending time with his children, one of whom died three years ago at the age of 34.
Stidham represented Jessie Misskelley, one of three suspects convicted in the May 1993 killings of three 8-year-old boys in West Memphis.
