Memphis police data chief retires

Memphis Police Deputy Chief Joe Oakley has retired from the department, he told The Daily Memphian Thursday. 

As the Deputy Chief of Information Technology, Oakley has overseen the launch and use of the police department’s Real-Time Crime Center camera surveillance systems, as well as the department’s data collection.
