Second vote on Shelby County Commission pay raises on Mon. agenda
The pay of future county mayors could increase under the proposal on the Dec. 6 County Commission agenda. The salary of current Shelby County Mayor Lee Harris, seen here in March, would not be affected. (Jim Weber/Daily Memphian)
The commission could address pay raises for itself, the mayor and sheriff are on Monday’s agenda. A commission pay raise would trigger pay raises for city council members and possibly the Shelby County Schools board.
