Judge: ‘Disappointing’ that number of defendants released on own recognizance isn’t increasing

New bail data was presented Wednesday, March 6, to members of the Shelby County Commission, and the numbers caused disagreements between court officials.

Once an intern, he never left, joining the staff full-time in 2022 as an education reporter.
