‘Blue’ sounds: Rodd Bland brings his dad’s music back to Beale
By age 5, Rodd Bland was performing with the band of his father, Bobby ‘Blue’ Bland. Following high school, he became the sole drummer for the group, gaining the opportunity to accompany fellow blues/R&B greats such as B.B. King, Otis Clay, and Bobby Rush. (Submitted)
