Bill Alexander got emotional when talking about the original Memphis Showboats from 1984 and 1985.

“One of my last games with my grandfather before he passed was the last Showboats game,” Alexander said while fighting back tears. “So that kind of brings it all back. He passed away in ’86 and that was one of the last things we did. It was a great thing to come see and watch.”
