Some pregnant Tennesseans could park in handicap spots if new bill passes

Pregnant Tennesseans may get a new benefit: prime parking spots.
A new bill, introduced by state Rep. Gino Bulso, R-Brentwood, and state Sen. Bill Powers, R-Clarksville, would allow pregnant women in their second or third trimester or those with a certified high-risk pregnancy to qualify for a disabled-driver placard.
This would allow them to use parking spaces otherwise reserved for people with disabilities.
