The city of Memphis ordered the closure of the warming center and shelter operated by Juice Orange Mound at its HubOM headquarters. It cited multiple code violations. (Patrick Lantrip/Daily Memphian)

City officials cited unsafe conditions and the shelter not being up to code, including no working smoke detector and no sprinkler system in case of a fire.
