Plant-based body-care franchise expands into Midtown
Erica Jancelewicz runs The Soap Factory. (Patrick Lantrip/The Daily Memphian)
Erica Jancelewicz delivered batches of red and black bar soap to firefighters in Midtown earlier this month, a gesture that marked the end of a hectic holiday season.
Jancelewicz is finally catching her breath after launching her Midtown franchise of The Soap Factory just in time for Black Friday.
With the permit approved only four days before the holiday rush, she and her team worked around the clock to open the store — a process that typically takes two weeks.
