Faced with the decision to permanently close her Blue Suede Vintage shop in the Crosstown area or move to a different location, Casey O’Rourke chose the latter.
The move to the Broad Avenue Arts District was a big decision for O’Rourke, who considers herself a risk-averse person. But she said she knew the business had to go on.
“I feel like Memphis needs as much positivity as we can get, and I just absolutely love being in the shop,” O’Rourke said. “It is my happy place, and I feel like over the last couple years it has become a very positive space for a lot of my customers.”
