10-townhouse development proposed for Cooper-Young
Several project requests across the city go before planning board
Developers renovating the historic Cotton Row historic district buildings, 99 and 105 S. Front, are seeking the elimination of the 31-by-94-foot public right of way where this wood deck and loading dock have existed for decades. The Pier and Butcher Shop restaurants once operated there. Twelve feet of sidewalk would still provide public access behind the buildings along Wagner Place. (Tom Bailey/Daily Memphian)
Townhouses and a Goodwill retail store/donation center for Midtown are among the requests that the Land Use Control Board will consider in July.
