The AM/DM podcast: Pizza witches, Filipino fest and Pride (Friday)

If this weekend has a theme, it’s probably pretty proud of itself.

And it should be.

The Mid-South Pride parade and festival on Beale Street is Saturday, but there’s also the Big Gay Dance Party at Crosstown Theater on Friday. (Did you know the seats in the theater are retractable?)

There’s also the Kasayahan Filipino Festival at the Baker Community Center on Saturday, a procession of the Pizza Witches (which will include umbrellas and a choreographed dance) also on Saturday, and the Memphis Ice Cream Festival on Sunday.

Newsletter editor Bianca Phillips is here with all sorts of information about what to do this weekend.

If any of that interests you, listen in.
