It’s time again for the quarterly Memphis Grizzlies Mailbag.
As always, I got tons of good questions, enough to make this mailbag a two-parter. There were a few subjects — the potential playoff rotation, approaches to the trade deadline and the futures of free-agents-to-be Santi Aldama and Jake LaRavia — where I got multiple questions. I chose representative ones to include. Some of those will wait for the second installment where I’ll take on the trade and offseason questions.
And there were a few creative questions where I couldn’t summon creative answers. It’s a me problem, not a you problem.

Chris Herrington
Chris Herrington has covered the Memphis Grizzlies, in one way or another, since the franchise’s second season in Memphis, while also writing about music, movies, food and civic life. As far as he knows, he’s the only member of the Professional Basketball Writers Association who is also a member of a film critics group and has also voted in national music critic polls for Rolling Stone and the Village Voice (RIP). He and his wife have two kids and, for reasons that sometimes elude him, three dogs.
