Bring women to the negotiating table

Dr. Leah Windsor is a research assistant professor in the Institute for Intelligent Systems at the University of Memphis. She studies language and politics in international relations, and gender and bias in family formation in society.
Research shows that to include women in the peacemaking process is not a courtesy, it’s a necessity. Any negotiations that stakeholders hope to be lasting or meaningful can only be so with the input of women in the community.
