U of M athletics announces cost-reduction measures because of COVID-19

Tigers will reduce spending to $4.4 million for 2020-21

In coronavirus' wake, the University of Memphis athletics department is cutting 14% from administrative and sports operational budgets and personnel savings for the 2020-21 school year. Some coaches and administrators, however, are stepping in to financially support the department and the Tiger Scholarship Fund.
