Willie Mays, Giants’ electrifying ‘Say Hey Kid,’ has died at 93

In 2011 Mays was honored by the Memphis Grizzlies and he received the National Civil Rights Museum Sports Legacy Award during halftime of the team’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day game with the Chicago Bulls.
