Sixth-inning surge can’t carry Redbirds over Sounds

The Memphis Redbirds erupted from being seven runs down, to tie the game during sixth inning, then lost to the Nashville Sounds (Triple-A, Milwaukee Brewers) during the ninth inning Saturday night at AutoZone Park.
The Redbirds lost 9-8 in the game that was part of a nine-game homestand and six-game series against the Nashville Sounds.
