Redbirds Recap: Memphis takes down Durham

The Memphis Redbirds kept their six-game homestand against the Durham Bulls (Triple-A, Tampa Bay) rolling with a victory Wednesday night at AutoZone Park.
Starting pitcher Curtis Taylor (7-3) managed to remain hitless in his first 5.1 innings. The right-handed pitcher allowed one run on three hits, walked two and struck out three. Taylor has thrown four consecutive starts during which two runs or fewer were allowed. Chris Roycroft (S, 4) retired all three batters faced in the ninth inning.
