Two more of the top 10 golfers in the world – Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele – have committed to the World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational next month, the PGA Tour announced Wednesday.

The addition of Cantlay, ranked eighth, and Schauffele at No. 10, means four of the top 10 players in the world rankings have announced they will play in the July 24-28 tournament at TPC-Southwind. Dustin Johnson, the No. 2 player in the world, and Bryson DeChambeau, the ninth-ranked player, already committed to the tournament.

Cantlay, winner of the Memorial Tournament on June 2 and with eight top 10 finishes in 14 tournaments this season, will make his first appearance in Memphis. Schauffele, who has won twice this year, has appeared here only once, in 2017.

Schauffele, a four-time winner on the PGA Tour, captured his first WGC title last October winning the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions in a playoff over Tony Finau.

Finau is among others who have already committed to the FedEx -St. Jude Invitational, along with Sergio Garcia, Matt Kuchar and Bubba Watson.
